1. Cookies:

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 8 oz canned pumpkin
  • 8 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1 Tbsp SACO Cultured Buttermilk Blend
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 Tbsp milk

Instructions:

Mix butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla, pumpkin and sweetened condensed milk; mix well. Sift together all dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. Place dough in refrigerator for two hours. Roll heaping spoonfuls into balls. Roll balls in coating mixture. Bake in 375°F preheated oven for 10 minutes.

2. Coating:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp orange zest

Instructions:

In a small bowl combine ingredients.

This Recipe Yields: 3 dozen cookies.
