Orange Chocolate Brownies

1. Brownies:

Ingredients

  • 12 Tbsp SACO Premium Cocoa
  • 4 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with foil and grease the foil. In a double boiler melt Saco Premium Cocoa, vegetable oil and butter; cool. Add sugar and mix well. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add flour; mix well. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs. Do not overbake.

2. Topping:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup SACO Chocolate CHUNKS
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp orange extract
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped until stiff

Instructions:

In a double boiler melt the Saco Chocolate Chunks, water, butter and orange extract. Stir until smooth. Cool to room temperature. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over brownies. Chill before cutting. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
